But you can't live in fear. God is not a God of fear and doubt, God is a God of hope and peace and He will reveal to you if there is anything you need to know, just like HE did with Lyryn.

Thanks again for being so open and honest and raw.Abo, Crys, GB and FBhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07040166697046963155noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6597304169251165379.post-64417885206209074332011-04-27T22:43:44.208-04:002011-04-27T22:43:44.208-04:00This is my biggest fear...This is my biggest fear...Karissa Pattersonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13105835949698519872noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6597304169251165379.post-25028903212964047422011-04-27T20:46:52.026-04:002011-04-27T20:46:52.026-04:00Thank you once again for opening your heart and le...Thank you once again for opening your heart and letting it spill through your words. Were you guys living together the whole time he was still talking to her?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6597304169251165379.post-10505806115946192262011-04-27T16:56:03.282-04:002011-04-27T16:56:03.282-04:00After reading the last post from Jesse - I thought...After reading the last post from Jesse - I thought that he should have talked to Lauren before she left. Finalize the ending... close that door. Then I read this. It made sense to me that he did contact her again... wether or not you were pushing him away.

I don't think you should blame yourself. Yes you were pushing him away - but you needed to grieve. You needed time to be ready to pick-up the pieces.

You were pushing him away - which WAS a horrible thing to do for your marriage - but NOT back to Lauren. That is where Jesse choose to go.

Jesse needed to close that door with Lauren himself too... Put the past away so he could pick up the future.

So God worked through your anger, let you grieve and then when you were ready to hear it, He told you to fight for your marriage. He is amazing in the way He works sometimes.Moments and Impressionshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07985790308177683141noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6597304169251165379.post-40080389413748844982011-04-27T14:12:11.842-04:002011-04-27T14:12:11.842-04:00Aww, breaking the crazy cycle! You were angry for the right reasons. Unfortunately, being human, it's SO hard to keep it righteous. You did pretty much what I think all of us would've done.
We were given the "Love and Respect" book as a wedding gift, and it's one of my favorites. Carlos Whittaker is awesome. He and his wife both have blogs. She's amazing at entertaining! Very talented.
Sounds like the happy side of the story is coming! I do believe God allowed you to be angry to allow for a wake up call to Jesse....I have seen it so much and dealt with it myself, too many times the wife doesn't get angry enough and forgives to quickly and moves on...and the husband never has to feel the consequences which might pull him right back to it later on.
It should make you mad that your wedding vows were hijacked, but once you mourn the loss of something so (or at least think) precious can you move toward recovery:) Don't beat yourself up too much for your actions, what you intended to inflict pain in Jesse, God used for good! love you both!Abbyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05442753927247031669noreply@blogger.com
