Two Awards! You Make My Day, People!!

The first one comes from Sare at The Hrebiceks. She is a great girl, who surely is what this award is about! She is in everyway uplifting and I’m so blessed to have gotten to know her better, not only through blogging, but through emails! You are wonderful my dear!

With this award I need to list 7 personality traits or facts about myself. Oh goodness - I hate this! And then also pick 7 awesome other bloggers! YEA! Ok… so here goes!

1. I’m an introvert – Quite, shy, whatever you want to call it. I like my ME time! I get this from my father, though I still have a lot of my mother running through these vanes!


2. I’m emotional – Yes, I am the girl what wears my emotions on my sleeves and makes people feel SUPER uncomfortable. Maybe that’s why I only have a few friends!


3. I love people – I care about people so much!!! I will laugh with you, cry with you, and stick with you through thick and thin!! And if you have a problem that I can relate to … well, you have just made a friend for LIFE!


4. I’m Insecure – I can’t believe that I’m admitting this, but I do so many stupid things because I’m so insecure. I have come a long way, but this is a battle I have been fighting for years!


5. I care too much about what others think of me – I sometimes care so much about what others will think that I base my decisions on what I THINK that person would want me to do. Another thing I’m working on!


6. I’m passionate – When something touches me deeply I’m a huge advocate for it. (thus, my blog)


7. FACT – I’m so freaking excited to go to the SYTYCD concert tour in two weeks!!! Woo-hoo!!

Your Blog is Fabulous! Really?

While I was away I receive another blog award!! I was pretty darn excited! My new blogger friend Paige from Live, Love, Laugh, gave my blog the “Your Blog is Fabulous” award! Not only do I LOVE this award, but I LOVE her blog… so go check her out! She is deep, creative, and she makes me laugh. If you haven’t seen her blog I would totally encourage you to go over there and check her out! ;)
So to accept this award I must do two things…First I need to list (5) obsessions. That will be cake; the second thing is what will be the hardest! I then need to pass it on to (5) other fabulous bloggers!! Here Goes…

Obsessions

1. 1. I’m obsessed with my new slamming IPhone – The new 3Gs. baby!! Video capability and ALL! My husband said that if I don’t use it… he will steal it from me. Can’t let that happen so I am going to use the crap out of it! Woo-hoo!
2. I hate to admit this… but totally obsessed with Facebook. I hate it! I can’t believe I’m going to say this, but I find myself getting upset when people don’t comment on my status when I think I left a really good one. (Come on girls… I’m not the only one!!) Then I start examining it in my head and find myself getting my self-worth from it. From FACEBOOK! Ok… I know, I have a problem, I’m working on it. (Can’t believe I just admitted that on here!
3. I have always loved Mexican food, but I have been craving it like crazy lately; and no… I’m not pregnant. So I guess you could say I have been “temporarily” obsessed with Mexican food.
4. I’m obsessed with writing, like article writing. I write a million things down all the time. Some deep, some not so deep. Obsessed with blogging too, but not just that. I have been looking into magazines who might want to publish a story or two of what I have written. My mom thinks I should send in a copy of my testimony that I wrote back in July. Um… not sure if I’m ready for that to be “published” but it’s something I am really looking into! Obsessed with writing!!!
5. I’m obsessed with pedicures. I love them… I don’t know what to say. They are one of the best things EVER! Call me vain… but I love them!!!!!
   

I think I admitted way too much in that. Oh well, it was really hard to choose these 5 fabulous bloggers, but here they are in no particular order.

The four I’m going to pass this award on to is listed above. I chose them because I never gave them an award before and I really like reading their blogs! I am giving a fifth one to my sis-in-love because… well, it’s my blog and I can do what I want to!!!! Go check these guys out because they are a really awesome bunch of bloggers and I know you’ll like’um!

To accept this award, along with passing it on to four other people; I must also list 10 things about myself that you all may not know. (This is going to be hard since a bunch of you know me REALLY well and because I’m pretty darn honest in my blog) Ok… so here goes…

1. I couldn’t say my own name when I was little so I called myself Eawee. My siblings couldn’t say my name either so all of them except for Declan called me Eawee as well. Declan… he called me wee-wee. Yep!



2. I have been a picky eater since I can remember. (I blame my parents) If you can believe it… I didn’t try Chinese food until I was 16 and seafood until I was 18. I was convinced that both were disgusting. I WAS SO WRONG!



3. I have known my husband since I was 8; when we were in jr. high youth group together I told my youth leader that he was gross and to keep him away from me. I was totally repulsed! My mom and youth leader called it then that he would be my husband. What do 12 years olds know anyway!?!?! ;)



4. I don’t really sing when I’m around people and some people question if I can even keep a note (MY HUSBAND). But in eighth grade I was one of three out of 125 who was selected to sing in district chorus! Ok… well it was a big deal back in 1996!!



5. I take after my father and am an extreme introvert! I LOVE being a lone, but there are times that I need to be with people. I don’t have many friends, but the ones I do have are pretty much family or related to family!!! I have a very close sisterhood with my girlfriends, and I think that’s all I really need!



6. In middle school I played lacrosse and did cheerleading. In high school, I gave up cheerleading and tried to dedicate all my time to lacrosse. What sucked is that I didn’t even become good at lacrosse until my junior year! God… I still love that sport, though!



7. Before I got married in 2003 I had a breast reduction. My BFF joined me on that adventure and we had the procedure done the same day. (oh, I hope you don’t get mad at me for sharing that, babe) I went from a DD to a C, it was one of the best things I've done and wouldn’t change it for the world! At that time I was a runner… now I can hardly walk up the road to my mom’s. I should really start running again!



8. I want to redo my vows with Jesse! Just a few close family a friends and a celebration of how far we’ve come and our commitment to the future! Who knows if it will happen, but it’s a hope of mine.



9. The time after having Jayden was a super hard time for me. I felt like a failure as a mom because I had a C-section and didn’t give vaginal birth. I was also unable to breast feed him. I denied having post-partum and waited way too long to get help for it. I’m scared to have another because of these feelings.



10. I want to write a book! I want to help other couples that have been through the same thing my husband and I have been through and want to be able to share our testimony with the world. I guess we’ll see…

What – What?!?! Blog Awards, Baby!

I’m excited to say that today; I was given this blog award from RCaitlin at City Intern Girl LIfe. She is a great blogger and I have thoroughly enjoying reading her blog!! Such a great girl… thanks!!!


I must say that this is not my first blog award, though still very special. I was first given this award by my sis-in-love about two months ago, but was terrible and didn’t really do anything with it but post it on the side of my blog. So I never really got to thank her officially…. So thanks sissy, love you, and thank you! (I can also now give her an award because I LOVE reading her blog – don’t think I could do that last time)
