19 Weeks - Almost Half way there!

How far along? 19 Weeks
Total weight gain/loss: I’ll know next week at my next appointment. I don’t check at home – Stresses me out too much!
Maternity clothes? It would help if I had more. Anyone want to donate to the Lyryn maternity fund? (Just kidding!) But yes… I’m either in sweat pants or maternity clothes.
Stretch marks? Not from this pregnancy.
Sleep: I was doing better, until last night.
Best moment this week: When Jesse got to feel the baby move two nights ago! Yay!
Movement: YES… this one is just like the last; a little jumping bean!
Food cravings: Mozzarella sticks…. I know, terrible! But I LOVE THEM!
Gender: Still not finding out… but I’ll take guessers!
Labor Signs: Nope
Belly Button in or out? Like I said last time, it’s out for the remainder of this pregnancy.
What I am looking forward to: Next Tuesday when I get to see my little one at my 20 weeks US appointment! I can’t wait to see my little one!
Weekly Wisdom: Don’t sweat the small stuff or even the big stuff for that matter. The baby feels that, just trust that God is making a way and leave the worrying to Him. I needed to do that a lot this week and last!
Milestones: Cleaning out the former office to make a new “big boy” room for Jayden. Not quite done yet…. But we are getting there!
Prayer Requests: (I just added this) Last night I was in a lot of pain in my lower abdomen, continuing into the middle of the night and through this morning. I got so worried that I called my doctor this morning to ask what could be the problem. The nurse informed me that after a C-section it is very common for woman to have major abdominal pain at the area of your last C-section and it’s the number one complaint they get from women that have had C-sections. The muscle is stretching and it’s putting a lot of pressure on the scar tissue. She said that this could be a problem through the rest of the pregnancy and I should look into support systems to hold my belly up. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!?! Fantastic! Anyway, if you could just be praying for me and that this would be less of an issue for me than they are making it out to be, I would be so appreciative!

Have a great rest of the week!

Interesting. I Had no idea about this- I mean, I guess I would not know since I have never had children, but it sounds horrible!
I will keep you in my prayers and I hope the pain goes away! eeks.

you look good! at least you still look like you have a waist...I've lost that. blah.

Sorry that the pain is literally, a pain! how annoying...I've heard of this band thing to hold up your belly...I was told I may need it b/c of my back issues...we could be losers and wear it together.

Hopefully that muscle will just stretch itself on out and quit hurting soon! Yay for being almost half way there!

Right with you on the lower stomach pain! (I had a c-section with Alyse too.) My Dr. told me it is my body reminding me to take it easy.

I got one of the belt things last time when I was pregnant and teaching. It didn't really help me all that much. I just remember it was really uncomfortable. I haven't pulled it out to try it this time around...

I have had a few nights that I have had to come lay down my stomach hurts so much. There seems like there is so much more pressure this time around. These second babies get to ya! :)

Cute lil' belly! Sorry you're having pain, but I'm glad I read this. I had a bad pregnancy with my 3rd and had to have a section. I just found out we're pregnant with our 4th and I would totally flip out if I started having pain... that makes sense though, so I'll be watching for it. I really hope you feel better and the pain stops. I'll say a prayer for ya. :)

19 weekes already?! I can't believe that. Your belly is so cute - I'm jealous of the outie belly button. I always wanted one while I was pregnant! ha!

What a cute little belly! I craved cheese sticks too, but it was just right at the very beginning of my pregnancies! they are oh so good though! I know you can't wait to see that little miracle on the ultrasound. Now did you say you are or aren't going to find out the sex? I'll keep you in my prayers with your section scar. I'm sure that is painful. Luckily I haven't experienced that.

Hi Lyr! Thanks for stopping by and saying hello! I think you look fantastic and I do hope that your belly pain becomes more manageable.

I didn't have a prior c-section, but I would get horrible sharp pains sometimes when I rolled from one side to another in the night. Same thing I guess - that muscle that supports the belly is stretching and hurts! I hope you get some relief soon!

Ugh. I'm so sorry you're feeling discomfort. I had c-sections and had the same experience. :(
But getting to feel the baby move totally made up for it in my book! :)

yuck I hope the pain gets better!

I have never had a c section yet had the same kind of pain through my last two pregnancies so I know what you're going through and it's no fun.

I still think you have such an adorable bump! I miss that stage!
