25 Weeks and Counting

How far along? 25 Weeks

Total weight gain/loss: Total weight gain, according to last week was 16lbs. Though I feel huge, I know I’m doing much better than my last pregnancy. For me, weight has always been a really tough thing for me to overcome. I know I’m on the “right” track, but it’s a constant mind game.

Maternity clothes? Heck yes! There are a few of my “fat” clothes I can slip into but other than those I’m pretty much wearing maternity. Jeans and sweat pants are my everyday attire.

Stretch marks? Again… none except the ones I got from Jayden during the first pregnancy. Happy about that!

Sleep: I thought my sleep would get better… but not so much. I’m up at least 4 times a night to pee and get pretty uncomfortable at times. I just wish I could make it to the really good REM sleep that most people need… It seems like I never make it. I am however, lucky that I can nap during the days when Jayden is sleeping. I think that helps a lot.

Movement: ALL THE TIME! It’s wonderful. I just love watching my belly jump and feeling the little movements of my little one.

Food cravings: This pregnancy is really weird for me. I eat really light during the day (because I’m seriously not hungry), but when 5pm rolls around all I want to do is eat! It’s crazy… probably the WORST time for me to want to stuff my face! Lol, and I will eat anything! Lately I LOVE lemon water ice. Hubby brought a bunch home for me last night.

Gender: Your guess is as good as mine.

Labor Signs: Braxton Hick… here and there. Not bad.

Belly Button in or out? VERY OUT! There are times I don’t think it could even come out much further… but it never ceases to amaze me when I see more and more of my belly button showing.

What I am looking forward to: This week I have been in this HUGE nesting craze. I want to clean and organize everything. I think that’s a little exciting. Maybe I’m just weird… Oh and I know it has nothing to do with my baby... but I'm looking forward to my sister-in-loves baby shower! :)

Weekly Wisdom: Hormones suck! Am I wrong ladies? I’ve been way more emotional with this pregnancy then I was with the last and I don’t know why. I get stressed/hurt/annoyed/shocked/surprised/happy/excited … every emotion you can think of at the drop of a hat.

I guess my only advice is to always, I mean always give it up to God. He is the one that can meet your needs right then and there. He has designed us ladies is such an amazing way. I believe these emotions are a GOOD thing, but at times are hard to deal with. Stay strong and lean on the Father to walk you through this amazing journey.

Milestones: Nothing too big… more and more movement is about it.

Hope you all are having a fantastic week!
