33 Weeks

How far along? 33 Weeks

Total weight gain/loss: 33 lbs… Not thrilled, was hoping to keep between 25-30lbs, but what are you going to do?!

Maternity clothes? Very much so.

Stretch marks? Nope, no new ones. Thank you JESUS!

Sleep: Still getting up to go to the bathroom 4-5 times a night. I was hoping that would stop by now… but I guess that just wasn’t in the cards for me.

Movement: ALL THE TIME! Little one likes to be pretty still between the hours of 11am-3pm, but early morning and evening this one is all over the place.
Food cravings: Ice Cream

Gender: We still have no idea. I’m going to say that my first instinct was that it was a girl. Then at my 20 week mark, I jumped back to thinking it was a boy. At this point… I am completely 50/50 and I have no idea what this little blessing will be. To be honest I didn’t think I was going to be able to do it. But we only have a few more weeks and I’m so happy that we choose to wait and be surprised! I think it’s pretty exciting!

Labor Signs: A few days ago I was have contractions every 6 minutes. It was a little unsettling since I am only 33 weeks, but thankfully it turned out to be nothing. These past two weeks I have been really pushing myself to get things done. Nest… I guess. Moving the nursery furniture around, getting a playroom ready, putting up blinds, vacuuming EVERY SINGLE day…each and every floor of my house (did I mention I have 4 floors?). I think I need to start recruiting my husband for more of these chores, do you think? HA!

Belly Button in or out? OUT

What I am looking forward to: At this point, all I’m really looking forward to is meeting this little one and holding them in my arms! I’m so excited for Jayden to meet his little brother or sister and see how they just start to connect. I’m looking forward to seeing what it’s like to be a mother of 2! ALSO – I’m looking forward to my daddy meeting this new little grandbaby! I was scared that he might not be able to.

Weekly Wisdom: Humble yourself before the Lord your God. There will always be people that will make assumptions and judge you for not only things you do or say while pregnant, but also in life as you parent this ever changing and growing child. Before I had Jayden I made a lot of judgments toward other parents and how they raised their own kids. I was SO WRONG! Each child is made so differently and has their own way of growing and learning. I’m learning that no matter how hard I try… I will fail, but with Gods redeeming love He will teach me to be the best mother for MY children. (Blog post to follow soon)
