Let’s Trade

So most of you may know my friend Angie who makes the amazing Emery Lin bags that I had a giveaway for at the beginning of the year. I have wanted one of these bags for a while now, but couldn’t really afford one… just to have one. You know?! So I decided I would facebook message her and see if we could strike up a deal. Maybe my talents could get me one of her talents for free! When I started to message her I seriously thought it was going to be a long shot. I knew how busy she was and how her orders were taking up a lot of her time. But it was worth a shot.

I was pleasantly surprised when she quickly got back to me and said that she would let me buy one from her for a certain price. She then went on to say that she would be happy to trade me the bag for some family photography services, but kindly said she knew that would be too much to ask. OH PISH-POSH… that is exactly what I was hoping for!!! lol! We had stuck up a deal and I was thrilled to be getting my bag. She even threw in a headband that matched the bag! I was SO excited!

Needless to say, it was a win-win for both of us; she had something I wanted and I had something she wanted! So this past Wednesday I went out to a family farm and photographed this beautiful family that so desperately wanted some family portraits. It didn’t hurt either that this just help my portfolio as well. :)

I got this…And they got these…

This was very much a WIN-WIN for both of us! Hope you guys like!
